Marbling Workshop (last tickets!)

Meet with like-minded people; locals & internationals, enjoy a glass of authentic Italian wine or a cup of organic tea/plant-based drinks with bites, and learn painting in a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of Amsterdam. -What is Marbling? Marbling is a method of aqueous surface design which allows you to paint on water. It is a technique used to create surface designs that resemble the patterns found in the stone. It’s been used for many years to create book covers and endpapers, but its history and application go far beyond that. Find out more with us. -What is our concept? Learn by making it! We will give you a lot of space to experiment and express yourself. Our tutors are not following traditional classroom methods. We will guide you while you reach your milestones. -What are we going to make? The process itself is about relaxation, fun and improvisation. There is a demonstration first 10 minutes you can learn how to use mediums and how to print which is very easy to pick up. Afterwards, you can either work individually or improvise with others. You can either make abstract patterns or floral designs. The tutor will guide you if you wish to make tulips, one of the Netherlands' iconic symbols. You can print min. 2 max. 5 papers in A4 size. All materials are prepared at the studio from raw pigments, oil and water, free of chemicals. -What is included? All materials, aprons and gloves are included as well as authentic Italian wine, organic tea, plant-based drinks, coffee and delicious bites. The address is Staalstraat 26, Amsterdam, Netherlands. This is not a children´s class. There is easy access is made available in this location for the disabled.
